Tata Power sets a date for the board meeting to declare Q2 results 2025. Check details
Tata Power Company Ltd's board of directors will convene on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, to approve the Q2 2025 results. The meeting agenda includes reviewing the Audited Financial Results (Standalone) and the Unaudited Consolidated Financial Results for the quarter and half-year ending September 30, 2025. This announcement was made in an exchange filing.
For the June quarter of 2024, Tata Power reported a consolidated net profit of $1,189 crore. The company saw a year-on-year increase of over 6%, reaching $1,262 crore for the June quarter of 2025. This growth was mainly attributed to enhanced revenues from its renewable energy and transmission and distribution segments.
Revenue for the June quarter of 2025 rose to $17,464 crore, compared to $16,810 crore in the same period last year. Praveer Sinha, CEO and Managing Director, stated that Tata Power has started fiscal year 2026 strongly, with robust performance across all business verticals. He highlighted the ongoing exceedance of expectations from the renewable energy portfolio, driven by innovation, scale, and efficiency in the clean energy value chain, and noted impressive gains from generation and T&D businesses.
On the BSE, Tata Power's share price opened at $393 today, reaching an intraday high of $396.70 and a low of $390.40. According to Anshul Jain, Head of Research at Lakshmishree, the stock has been consolidating within the $370–$400 range for 116 trading sessions, showing no significant momentum or accumulation. The current sideways movement, lacking pre-breakout volume build-up and momentum signals, is expected to persist for at least another eight weeks. This prolonged consolidation suggests the stock is accumulating energy for a potential larger move. A decisive breakout, likely upwards, is anticipated to propel the stock approximately $50 from the breakout point, presenting a potential medium-term trading opportunity.
